    The menu was very busy, the food was good, although my son found that his lobster Mac and cheese was not acceptable due to the lobster being fishy tasting. The staff and our server were great, the waffles were very good, unlike anything I've had before.

    A trip to Palm Springs must include dinner at Si Bon. We enjoyed the Beet Salad as a starter. My wife always gets the short ribs as an entree. They melt in your mouth. I enjoyed the Salmon entrée which was perfectly cooked. You cannot leave without dessert. The special dessert was the Yule Log, a very healthy piece that was enough to feed two people. It was not cloyingly sweet, with distinguishable layers. Roberto patiently answered our questions about the menu and provided attentive service.

    Si Bon is a gem of a place, in an unassuming location at the end of a strip mall attached to a large grocery store- Albertsons, I believe. Went for “brunch” but it’s not a buffet: Just an amazing choice of omelettes, crepes, Belgian waffles, French toast, pancakes, Benedicts, burgers and sandwiches that will make this a new ‘go-to’ spot when you’re hungry for good food. Competent service without overbearing and it’s great that they accept (and honor) reservations. We will be back.

    Best brunch in the Desert Cities might be the French breakfast crepe. Great coffee. Quiet enough that conversation is easy. A great choice for getting together with a friend.
