The food was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The service however was lacking.. we rarely got checked on we didn’t get refills on drinks and weren’t offered them either… I had to ask for more water. Valet is paid at the bar we heard other servers offering to take their ticket to the bar for them to get it paid and ours never offered or asked so we had to squeeze up to the bar after our meal (the bar was packed) it made it difficult … he was occupied talking to his co-workers mostly. We still left a 20% tip it is Christmas after all… but I’d rather have a diff server next time…

We have previously enjoyed Scott’s Seafood on the River for holiday meals (Mothers/Fathers Day, Valentines, birthdays, etc.) but this Christmas Day dinner was just terrible. We had an early reservation but were shunted to the overflow tables in the bar even though dining room tables were available - now that is just bad. The service was unbelievably slow and we waited nearly an hour to get our food. My wife’s stuffed salmon was undercooked and cold. My filet was good though. We infrequently saw our server and left generally not feeling good about our experience. We don’t mind paying for a good meal and dining experience, but today we felt as though we overpaid for being so underwhelmed.

My husband and I both ordered the sole. It was delicious. Perfectly prepared. The vegetables that came with it were crunchy tender. A perfect dinner. We had oysters that were fresh and delicious. Scott’s is not an inexpensive restaurant but well worth the price. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. We can definitely recommend Scott’s Seafood.

It’s difficult to pay that much for a meal on Christmas that is so poorly prepared. Our lobster was under cooked. Our appetizers were cold. The crab bisque was almost inedible. The food was very disappointing. The ambiance was ok and the service was good. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

The food was so so. The clam chowder and salad were very good. The crabcakes were a 3. The filet I asked for was just about medium. I asked for medium rare. The scallops were a bit chewy. Christmas miracle, it was not. Maybe another day.

Amazing food and service. everything was on point. we went for my husbands birthday and we were a group of 4. We ordered crab cakes that were delicious and a cesaer salad to start. Then me and my husband had filet and shrimp that was flavorful and tender. Our friends had the skirt steak and Shrimp Louie. The presentation of both were perfect. We also had cocktails and I suggest the Guava Rita. And defiantly the Crème Brulee for dessert.
