   We felt a bit rushed in the service. We were not advised of an upcharge on dessert on a prix fixe menu. The pork tenderloins were overcooked and a bit tough.

   Second time here. And didn’t disappoint. Atmosphere is cozy. Service by Diana was outstanding and food was mouth watering. Had the crab cake, best we have ever had. Bacon wrapped shrimp, perfectly grilled. Husbands Veal osso buco, like butter. Fettuccine Alfredo with huge shrimp brussel sprouts and sun dried tomatoes just made you want More. Flourless chocolate cake, so decadent and satisfying. Alternate Martini, made be want a second round. Nothing negative to say about this visit. Only that we will be back.

   Excellent restaurant week during one with three courses. All enjoyed different appetizers which were all good. All four really liked the monkfish entrees.

   Outstanding dining experience! Delicious food, charming, casual atmosphere. Currently decorating for the holidays and it looks magnificent. We had broccoli soup, pork tenderloin, monkfish dinners and chocolate torte, waffle sundae desserts. Fantastic. While we decided to have wine they do have an awesome cocktail menu! It is currently restaurant week so we had three course meals for a reasonable price. The regular menu looks a bit pricey however it is worth it. The value is there but it is not a value restaurant. Just mentioning so visitors are prepared. Will definitely dine there again. Highly recommend visiting this time of year to see the added stunning decor. However, I am sure it is beautiful all year long!

   I always enjoyed dining at Scarborough Fair. I love the ambiance, especially in the colder months as the wood and brick restaurant is very comforting and homey. I went to dine during Jersey Shore Restaurant week, and ordered off that special menu. The appetizer was delicious...mushrooms casino! Breadcrumb filled mushrooms with diced red and green bell peppers and a touch of bacon served with a delicious red cabbage. For the entree, I ordered the pork tenderloin. Here is where I was a little disappointed. Thinly sliced pork tenderloin seared on both sides, which made the pork very dry. Accompanied by egg fettuccine with julienne vegetables was tasty, but no sauce on the pork. I had to send it back, as I really did not care for this preparation. I was offered a different meal, but chose to decline. Please don't get me too wrong, I have always enjoyed dining at this fine restaurant, so I guess I just chose the wrong entree for myself. This should not stop anyone from going to this landmark restaurant, especially around the holidays, as the decorations and atmosphere are well worth the trip.
