Sapore Italiano is a fine dining restaurant aiming to bring the best to our customers.
We are open for dinner every day from 4pm - 10pm.
Spring hours (February-April) - Thursday - Sunday

Reservation are required.

Own cakes are not allowed except wedding reception.

Every year we are participating in Restaurant Week Event which takes place in June and November. Before making reservation please check menu on https://www.cmrestaurantweek.com/

                            easy to park, pretty exterior, no wait to sit. Nice and quiet table. we only had main entries, no appetizers or desserts...but the choices were many, and the meal we had was excellent. A tad expensive, but great food seems to be these days. attentive waitress, kind, and she was helpful with choices.

                            We enjoyed our meal however it was very difficult to have a conversation because we were in a small room with 2 groups of 8 who were very noisy. Maybe some sound deadening panels would help with that problem.

                            We have dined at Sapore multiple times throughout the years. As they have grown, unfortunately the atmosphere has become less cozy, the service slower and the food not quite as good. The food was still good, but the tables are very close and the lighting so dim that multiple people had to use their cell phone lights to read the menu. We could not have an intimate conversation because of the noise level. And even in November I had to circle the block 3 times to find a parking place as their parking lot is totally inadequate.

                            Sapore is a quiet spot in Cape May, with a cozy feel, and wonderful food. We had an eggplant rolatini appetizer And penne alla vodka entree which was flavored with pancetta for a smooth smoky taste. Both were delicious! My one small annoyance was that no salad comes with dinner so we ordered a $12.95 Caesar salad thinking it would be enough for 2 (it wasn’t) and it was a lot to pay for lettuce, dressing and a couple of grocery store croutons. It was tasty, however, but overpriced. That said, it will not keep us from returning for more of their wonderful food!
