   We also went to the Sanderlings Thanksgiving buffet last year, and our experience was very different this year. Last year we sat downstairs in the dining room near a window, which was attractive and pleasant. This year we were upstairs in what felt very much like a hotel conference room. The ambience was disappointing. Last year the buffet included a seafood bar and a carving station, neither of which were present this year. This was a much simpler buffet. The food was good, but not as impressive as last year. The dessert selection also seemed smaller, and it was not kept fully stocked. We’ll do something else next year.

   Overpriced for the quality of food and service. Te waiter was shoving the bill to us before we were done eating and plates were cleared. It was an odd experience. We’ll dine elsewhere next time.

   Return of head chef Ben Hillan has brought a refreshed menu of locally sourced fish, meat and produce. Highly recommend the Black Cod, Dungeness Crab Salad, Prosciutto wrapped Halibut and Steak Bavette.

   New farm to table menu. Everything was creative and delicious! The view is over the top! No need to go to Hawaii for an outstanding sunset. The farmers market salad was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the Wagyu Bavette and Lobster Hokkaido Scallop entrees. The Basque cheesecake was also a hit!

   We asked our waiter, Gael, for a hamburger, he said that’s only on the bar menu, you can’t order from the bar menu in the restaurant. I went and talked to the bartender, Marc, he gave me the bar menu and said we could order from either menu in the restaurant. So we ordered from the bar menu from our table in the restaurant.

   Good food, great view and wonderful service! We were staying at Seascape and chose this restaurant for dinner so that we could stay on property. We started with the grilled octopus, which was very tender and prepared Spanish style with potatoes, sausage and a very delicious herb sauce. My companion had the sea bass, which was marinaded in soy and came with white rice and bok choy. I had the grilled salmon with wild mushroom risotto and grilled asparagus. The risotto was meh! But the salmon was cooked perfect with a grilled crunchy exterior and a soft interior. We finished off with the tiramisu. The food is average but the amazing view and service made for a nice evening.

   Sat outside on the patio (they have plenty of sun umbrellas), it was a gorgeous day, the view of the ocean was amazing, food and service were great, very relaxing and fun place to eat!
