   Courtney’s service rounded out an amazing experience. She was competent, knowledgeable, accommodating, generous, flexible, and pleasantly entertaining and interactive. Audrey supported Courtney seamlessly. The food was remarkable. This was our first time experiencing the new menu after the remodel and reopen on January 7, 2025. We are excited to return soon to experience the Chef’s Tasting Menu. We will request to work with Courtney again. Thank you for making a family reunion dinner even more special. You all exceeded our expectations. We will gladly spread the word to our fellow Island residents.

   Made the reservation on OpenTable effortlessly for a Tuesday evening. The staff called the weekend before, asking me three questions: Was I staying at the Ritz-Carlton? Did we have any food allergies? Was it a special occasion? I answered them all and mentioned I intended to get engaged earlier in the day. Earlier on Tuesday, before our arrival, Carilyn Powers (Director of Restaurants at the Ritz-Carlton) emailed and texted me making sure there were no additional ways they could make our dinner experience better. Our menus were personalized with a Congratulations printed on the first page. The restaurant is upscale with a clean, modern vibe. There is a lounge area with a fireplace with seating and a bar. You pass thru the lounge area to the tables for the dinner. Our table looked out over the beach and ocean. Matthew, our waiter, was experienced and incredibly helpful. He asked for our drink order and suggested champagne. He led us outside where he performed the traditional sabering of the champagne. Salt has a wide variety os salts to try, hence the name of the restaurant. Were given three salts to use on our warm, buttered bread. It was fantastic. All appetizers, dinner options and desserts were explained very thoroughly. We had PEI oysters and the tuna tartar which were excellent. We had the pastrami and halibut main courses which were equally as good. They provided a complimentary dessert tray due to our special occasion. Also, they asked which salt we enjoyed the most and provided us a small sample to use at home. After dinner we moved over to the fireplace for an after dinner drink. It was the little elements performed which stood out. The constant attention to our needs but they did not hover. Simple things like how water was poured, replacement of utensils/plates after a course, pushing in our chairs when sitting down and replacing napkins when leaving the table. Suit and tie for the waiter which was nice to see.

   Went for an anniversary dinner, the service is unparalleled. Food was delicious - waygu very memorable. A little loud at times and still delicious undergoing a few renovations, but very enjoyable. New menu is more seafood than I recall, but still had a good steak.

   This was a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. I would have preferred it to be quieter. Having a normal volume conversation was difficult. Overall, I would recommend Salt to everyone.

   Salt's revamp of the menu and remodel are both amazing! We had a few different things from the menu and each one was perfect. The Wagyu beef was tasty and tender, with the side items being flavorful, too! We tried one of the new appetizers (the tuna) and were very impressed. We will be back soon.

   New Year’s Eve at the Salt was a treat! We had the best servers with Olga and her team. The Salt offered an advanced cuisine and wine pairing which was amazing. The only reason I can’t give the Salt a 5 star rating is because the tables lacked any kind of linen. Without linen, the wooden tables look like they could be in any pub and the silverware makes loud noises and moves around easily. Hopefully the Salt will reimagine in the linen table setting. Thank you.
