Perfectly aged steaks, one of the largest wine collections in the world, and an internationally famous dessert room. These elements have combined since 1956 to provide guests with a unique culinary experience. Prime steaks are cut to order, vegetables are grown locally on the Bern’s farm when available and sourced from the finest purveyors, and the menu includes 20 choices of caviar. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Dinner at Capital Grille was excellent. Our server, Anjelica, was friendly, helpful, and professional. She provided the perfect amount of attention without being obtrusive. She helped my husband choose between two dishes and he was happy with her suggestion. It was a busy night and food delivery slowed a bit, but she kept us informed and made sure to accommodate us with a surprise at the end of the meal. The food was excellent and other staff made brief appearances to check on us. Great place for a nice meal.

Had a filet mignon and a filet mignon with lobster tail along with lobster mac & cheese and cream spinach. Everything was fantastic and as it should be.  Food came out sizzling hot with lots of flavor. this classic restaurant is still amongst the best steakhouses and very relevant. Comparable to Ocean Prime and probably better than Capital Grille.

I took my wife here for her birthday and the food was so good. She had the Churasco and really liked it. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was delicious.We will be returning for sure..

The salad was uninspiring . Of three of us who ordered medium filet all were overdone. Two complained but I didn’t bother. The vegetables were good. None of the desserts on the menu inspired us to order. A gorgeous restaurant but the food wasn’t. Kate who waited on us was lovely. We had expected a special evening but it was all a bit disappointing.
