Great spot but not cheap. I would highly recommend. The food is outstanding...right from the warm homemade foccacia with whipped ricotta to the duck breast which was cooked perfectly....knife cut through like butter. The lobster primi dish was great too.

Menu highlights include soft egg yolk raviolo with ricotta and truffle butter and New York's finest venison chop in a port wine and balsamic vinegar sauce with toasted hazelnuts, sautéed spinach and roasted Mission figs.

The 350-bottle wine list encompasses all regions of Italy but also does justice to the best American wineries.

We haven't been to Il Tinello in awhile, and found it to be as good as ever. We started with a Caesar salad for two prepared tableside for our first course. My wife had the Suprema Di Pollo Modo Mio (chicken with asparagus, mushrooms, shallots and white wine, and I had the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi (potato pasta with four cheeses) for our main courses. A nice bottle of Pinot Grigio was a perfect match for the food. For dessert, we had the Pistachio with Cannoli Cream Cake and Rocotta Cheesecake. We also had a coffee and an espresso to go with them. The food, service and ambiance were all outstanding! The staff really knows the meaning of hospitality. Everyone is treated with class, and is made to feel at home. If you haven't been to this restaurant, make sure to put it on your list for a truly wonderful experience!

We started with their homemade Caesar salad, which is always excellent. I had the Bronzino special. My wife had chicken Sorentino. We had some drinks and wine, for dessert we had cappuccino and a tartufo. It was very busy, we felt slightly rushed however, we will definitely be back. It is an upscale restaurant with upscale pricing.
