we had a delicious meal of baked salmon and prime rib. My wife said the salmon was the best she has ever had, and the prime rib was excellent. Our waitress was exceptional and make our dining experience very pleasant. we were seated right by the kitchen which made it a little noisy but otherwise it was fantastic.

Our group enjoyed a delicious early dinner at Gorat’s on a Tuesday evening. Menu choices included the salmon dinner, wedge salad with shrimp, onion soup and beef filet dinner. All were very good, presented beautifully with very wait time. Atmosphere is relaxing and quiet; hostesses and waiter were friendly and provided excellent service. Parking is plentiful and close to the restaurant - a huge plus on a cold night. Great experience at one of Omaha’s classics.

Proteins were cooked to perfection but I wish they had something other than sweet potato mash. Not everyone likes it and would be nice to have another option.
