About the restaurant
After an amazing 10 years of tasting menus in Beverly Hills, the team at Maude regrets that we will be closing permanently on September 28. It has been our honor to share dinner with each of you.

Affectionately named after his late paternal grandmother, the restaurant pays homage to Maude, Curtis’ first culinary mentor whose sensibilities are resonant throughout the restaurant experience.

The chefs and staff at Maude made my birthday dinner a beautiful bittersweet experience. I visited Maude monthly the year they opened in 2014 and specifically wanted to celebrate my birthday and my return to the restaurant on the night of their last service. Seated at the chefs counter, chefs were engaging and personable. I received a hand signed birthday card from staff and personalized menu at the end of the evening. Each and EVERY tasting course was deliciously memorable. Thank you so very much! p.s Mgmt: Due to restaurant closure, if flat/dinner/stem ware becomes available for purchase, please reach out to me.

About the restaurant
1913 Restaurant & Bar is no ordinary restaurant. Named for the founding year of the City of Hope, 1913 is a place where every plate is thoughtfully curated to nourish one’s body, heart, spirit, and soul. Executive Chef Christian Eggerling and his diverse team of culinary talent make healthy food fun, sometimes fancy (because we all deserve it), but never boring. Fresh wild-caught seafood, locally sourced meat, garden-harvested vegetables, decadent desserts, curated wine list and craft cocktail program make 1913 the ideal destination for any occasion. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and private events can be experienced in our modern and elegant restaurant or outside on the patio with a picture-perfect view of the local foothill mountains. Whether you are a team member, local or visitor to our historic campus - our commitment to locally farmed, sustainability-focused food is not just a pledge, it is a promise.

When I first arrived I was confused and thought I had entered the wrong address on the GPS because it directed me near CITY OF HOPE so I thought it was a cafeteria. Apparently there is a hotel nearby and the restaurant is in the lobby. The food was great! Had the Four cheese pasta and I truly enjoyed it. It had a nice flavor and brightness to sauce with a slight spicy kick and richness from the cheese incorporated and yet didn’t have an overpowering heaviness. The dessert was delicious as well. Had the Butter Pecan cheesecake which was their seasonal dessert and a friend had the butter cake which I would highly recommend to try. The butter cake had a nice crisp outside and moist inside

Koreatown
About the restaurant
We are an eclectic Los Angeles restaurant, located in Koreatown, heralded for its creativity and genre-defying cuisine. Their first restaurant together, owners Lien Ta and Chef Jonathan Whitener opened Here's Looking At You in 2016. Named a "Restaurant of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine and one of Eater National's "38 Most Essential Restaurants," HLAY was also the subject of author Patric Kuh's "Becoming a Restaurateur." After four magical years as a small independent restaurant, COVID-19 would force its forever closure. But 17 months later, fate would have it that the community would come together to help resurrect this very special restaurant. Thanks to you, Here's Looking At You is back.

The food was exceptionally good and the service was great. The manager stopped by our table a couple times to ask how everything was and was super friendly and congenial. It was clear that he valued local, regular customers as there was a lot of laughter. We will add Fox & Farrow to our monthly rotation!
