Located in Ottawa, Ontario, gezellig prepares each menu item using high-quality ingredients purchased locally. On the menu are items such as seared scallops, braised beef shortibs, potato gnocchi, beef tartare, duck breast, and wild-caught lingcod. Our classic butterfinger for dessert is a staple that has been on our menu since opening in 2012

Wonderful surprise! This small restaurant has fantastic food, highly recommended the Mushroom dish with Lion’s Mane mushrooms! Also, the twist on Trini Doubles were amazing! Adam at the bar made a wonderful cocktail based on our likes and dislikes and was a great host! Nothing but superlatives.

Food was excellent. Service was good..a few missteps by staff reorder…cplacingorder by phone was not working ..tried to order an item..did not work, spoke to staff who said they would fixit but they did not so part of order came..other part did not…no free refill on basic coffee..

Afternoon tea was fabulous and so beautifully presented! Had the best time with my aunt and 2 sisters for a joint birthday celebration. Accommodated my gluten free allergies so kindly and the special touches with the flowers 🌸 everywhere! Even on the tower. We will be back for Valentine’s Day!
