At The River Shack we are not interested in fuss or formalities, we simply want to provide you with delicious food and drink in a relaxed and beautiful setting.

You can dine right by the waters edge on sunny days, shelter in our waterside marquee on rainy ones, or relax by our log burner inside on the cooler days.

The views in themselves are worth the trip, but wait until you try the food! Our menus are creative, seasonal, rustic and delicious.

What a top spot. We went for brunch & took our dog. We were all greeted with such warmth & friendliness. The setting is quirky & interesting, the ambience was laid back & cosy. My scrambled egg was cooked perfectly & my husband’s full English was (in his words) the best he’s had in ages! Great Bloody Mary’s too. We will definitely be returning, next time to try their lunchtime menu, which sounds delicious.

It starts with the ingredients. The ingredients were excellent quality and the food was amazing. Local Salcombe beers and ciders complimented local seafood.

The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.

Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.

The restaurant’s menu will feature fresh, local and seasonal produce and will include fish sourced from local day boats. We will also be offering traditional afternoon teas.

There will be opportunities for private dining, small weddings and business meetings – all set against a spectacular ocean view backdrop!

Located in the Guildhall Shopping Centre in the centre of Exeter, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. They also have an accessible kids’ menu where children can get a meal and a drink for £5.50.

Lovely food, great portion sizes. Had to wait a bit for our table even though we had a reservation but the staff were very hospitable. Weren’t waiting long and we got drinks on the house. Food was reasonably priced and they accept dogs.

In the heart of the East Devon countryside, surrounded by acres of farmland, you'll find the award-winning Greendale Farm Shop and it's family-friendly café & restaurant. The Greendale Farm Shop Café and Restaurant is much loved by visitors and locals alike. We offer a new extensive menu, created around many of the items sold in our shop and showcasing local produce from our farm and fishing boats. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are no problem and we have a children's menu for the little ones, too. A lovely place to meet up for a family lunch. Easy to park and decorated beautifully for Christmas. A lovely lunch menu with plenty of choice. Good service and a friendly welcome. I would definitely return.
