SukhoThai, serving our "Classical Thai Cuisine" in New Orleans since 2003, is the only restaurant in Louisiana awarded a Thai Select Premium certification by the Royal Thai Government for quality Thai cuisine, superior service and beautiful interior design. We are well known for our excellent seafood dishes, wok-fired stir-fries, traditional curries and noodles, and our extensive vegan menu. Our favorite dishes include, Char-grilled Oysters, Smoked Fried Oysters, Crawfish Beignets, Crab Dip, Shrimp Caminada Po'boy, Redfish on the Half Shell, Whole Baked or Fried Pompano, and our Creole Crawfish Pasta.

We are just a few blocks from the Convention Center. We are located on Lafayette Street, Convention Center Blvd. and Fulton Street.

We offer a casual, relaxing atmosphere inside or outside on our patio.

Our oysters are locally sourced from hardworking, lifetime fisherman from the Gulf of Mexico. Day or night you can stop in grab a cold local draft and watch the art and skill of our oyster shuckers at the Oyster Bar. Stay awhile and enjoy a dozen or two!

First visit, so we tried the Happy Hour. Did not disappoint as the food and our server, Ms E were the best! We chose the low country boil along with grilled and raw oysters. The oysters 🦪 were the biggest and tastiest I have ever had and only $6 for 6! Ordered another round and washed it all down with a cold draft. Best deal in town! Ms E was fantastic as was the rest of the staff. I had a very good and interesting conversation with the owner. Can’t recommend highly enough, a must!

My husband and I enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was awesome. Everything was cooked and served to perfection! We highly recommend GAIA and will return for future outings to New Orleans! Note to the ladies, the Tiger Lily drink is spectacular.

The waitress was great, very polite , and helpful. The manager Shane came around checking on the while dining room displayed great customer service. The food was great. The Baby Back Rib was so tender that I could pull the meat right off the bone with easy.
