    Food was excellent. Service was fine except we had to wait 10 minutes to get the dessert menu and then it got too late we opted for the check, which took another 10 minutes. When the waiter brought the check, he said "take your time". We were interested in going home. When we tried to get his attention to pay the check he never looked out way. There were only 4 parties in the restaurant at that time. He was at a large table about 30 feet away and I kept waving the check in the air so we could pay and leave. When he left the table, he never looked our way. I got frustrated and slammed the check holder on the table. Another waiter saw me and said he would take the check. About 10 minutes later, one of the managers brought the check and card to the table. One would think that when a guest asks for the check, he/she is interested in leaving. To not check back for over 10 minutes is ridiculous. Otherwise, everything was great.

    We love Ruth Chris because it’s always a great experience. We had the absolute best good together with wonderful service. We were celebrating my birthday and it was wonderful.

    Understandably waited 30+ minutes beyond reserved time because the restaurant was packed for New Year’s Eve. Service was initially a bit slow for the same reason. The restaurant was noisy but not unbearable. The food and wine were excellent as usual. The cost with a generous tip was a bit high but not totally unexpected. It was overall a fine dining experience.

    Been going to RC for decades of personal and business dining and this was the worst experience over that entire time. Got seated late even though we had reservations (30 minutes late), food took forever to come out and one of the medium rare Filets was RAW (it was actually blue). Just expect more at that price point!
