   The steak was very good. The sides were warm to cold, server were slow getting back to the table after being served. The dining room was very slow, few tables. This restaurant group has lost some of the standards they have been known for after being sold.

   I am writing to express my disappointment with the treatment my family and I received at your establishment yesterday. We arrived at 4:25 PM to an empty restaurant but were told no seating was available due to reservations. However, I immediately checked your app and found reservations open for 4:45 PM, 5:00 PM, and 5:15 PM. I booked a 4:45 reservation and informed the maître d’ that we would be waiting. As we were escorted to our table, my sister overheard the manager say he did not want to serve us. This comment was deeply upsetting. My mother-in-law, who is Hispanic, noted she’s never had to make reservations, and my sister and I, who are African American, have never faced such treatment at other Ruth’s Chris locations. Despite the restaurant never reaching full capacity, we were turned away with an unconvincing explanation. The general manager, Frank Rangel, dismissed our concerns, claiming we misheard. However, the lack of other African American patrons and the disparity in how we were treated makes this incident impossible to overlook. While the food and our server were excellent, the service upon arrival was appalling. I hope Ruth’s Chris will address this unacceptable behavior and take steps to prevent such experiences in the future.

   La comida es muy mediocre. Ensalada César con crutones húmedos, lechuga tibia y queso parmesano de mala calidad. La carne sabe a mantequilla quemada, y las papas fritas nadando en aceite. Ni la Dieta Coke estaba buena; no tenía gas.

   Our reservation was not honored and we were forced to sit at the bar. Manager was rude and didn’t attempt to mitigate the situation. We had a large party with executives for business purposes. Not reliable or accommodating in any way.

   The best part of the meal was our server Israel was great, knew all of our names and was very helpful. Great guy.
