   Wonderful ambience with crackling wood fire from the fireplace, high ceilings and tables spread out far enough from each other to create a quiet and private atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic date.

   We had an excellent dining experience last weekend. The food was very tasty. Special compliments for the palate cleanser that was served after appetizers and before the main course - it was a nice touch that all of us appreciated. The service and the ambience were very pleasant. Thank you for the overall top-notch experience. We are planning to go back again soon.

   We had a very lovely evening for our daughter’s milestone birthday. Our waitress was wonderful, friendly, attentive. The food was excellent.

   Third experience here at rustica, always a great choice. We started with the steak tartare which was amazing and very caper-centric, and what a serving!! It was practically a whole 6oz steak worth. For mains we had the filet mignon and the salmon, both excellent, steak was tender and salmon had a nice spicy butter topping. We both chose the smoked mashed potatoes and they were smoky and soft and wonderful. Kat was our server, lovely and bubbly, great service…another win at Rustica!

   It was fantastic, we were in between busy times/seasons so it wasn’t busy in Canmore, we had the restaurant to ourselves which made it even better. Staff is always amazing, this was no different.

   We read many reviews that this was THE steakhouse to go to in Canmore and were rather disappointed. The ambience was great, but the steak was overly salty and had a sour taste. My meal had a hair in it, so the kitchen remade the dish. However, my partner was then left to either eat his meal alone or wait for me and have his food get cold. Our romantic night out turned into us eating separately while the other watched. Food was underwhelming and overpriced for what it was.

   Hi Courtney, Sorry you were disappointed , we do always strive to exceed expectation , I don't know how to respond to your remarks as to the sour taste , we sell so much beef it doesn't really linger in our coolers other then the intended meats for the dry aging, that particular week end all product that came into us on the friday was all gone by Sunday, however we recognize that everyone's tastes are different, again sorry you were not happy, we have addressed the seasoning with the kitchen and will take care not to over season, as for the hair , unfortunately everyone has it and it does happen from time to time, all kitchen personnel are required to wear hair covering so I am pretty confident it was picked up during transit, however again that doesn't change your evening. Sorry again.

    Service was great but unfortunately the food was shockingly bad. Ribeye was overcooked in the centre with 0 sear on the outside, cut was bad with low quality fat. Risotto was too acidic which overpowered the truffle. The Panna Cotta was more like a flavourless white Jello.

    Hi Christopher, sorry to see you were unhappy with your meals, checking in with the server who took care of your table ,she indicated that she checked in twice with your table and when asked how everything was the response was everything was fantastic, while I understand some may not want to come across as negative it is always better for us to get back negative feedback while your there so we may at least try to make your evening better, we strive for perfection and feel we achieve it most of the time, but we are not perfect and if something is not up to standard we would always do our best to make it right. We use only the highest grade beef and its reflected in the prices we charge, we want you to hold us to a high standard , we use only the highest grade beef and it's not low quality
