Having reservations, we got seated right away. The only issue we had was it took awhile for our food to come. The waiter acknowledged it and was very apologetic. He even compt one of alcoholic drinks we had ordered

It’s a splurge but worth it because the food and service is excellent! I had the macadamia but crusted local fish and it was delicious!!!

I have been to Roy’s for many times! It’s always been a pleasant experience. But today Valentines Day is the worst experience ever! Our server, I don’t know what’s going on, if she’s too busy with something or too busy to change shift. Missed our orders, late on the drinks (literally after we got the food), and hair in the food. What is going on today? We probably would go back later. But not anytime soon.

Great food when it finally came. Was a little slow service and was extremely noisy. However, the food makes up for all of that.

Unfortunately our main entre the butter fish was just barely warm. However, our waitress comp that for us which was a nice gesture.

Nice staff and well trained. Food was all excellent quality. Best Mai Tai I have had in a very long time. Mahi mahi special was perfectly cooked. Each course was well prepared and not rushed.

The rude female drink waiter spoiled the whole experience by totally ignoring my wife throughout the evening . The other staff were pleasant however overshadowed by the loud and inhospitable drink waiter. I would suggest that Roy,s need a Maître D to oversight staff to prevent other diners from having such an unpleasant experience when expectations are high. Probably won’t go back. Worst restaurant experience in recent memory after 8 years coming to Hawaii.
