   Amazing food in a very beautiful ambience. Food quality is really good and plates are big. Pricy but worth the experience

   We got to eat in the train car which was really cute but my complaint is with the food. It was just really not great. I had a vegetable napoleon and it was barely cooked and eggplant is really not something I like eating raw. The bread basked had two small pieces of bread for 4 people. No one else was very happy with their meals either. Most likely would not eat here again.

   We have been regular customers for over 20 years. It seems that restaurant changed in last few years for significantly worse. After a 6-months break we decided to check it out again. It is worse than ever. Bread was stale and hard as a rock. Pear salad (used to be my favorite) looked awful. And tasted even worse. Veal Milanese was incredibly dry. My husband left it hardly touched. Waitress did not even ask if we want to take it home. We would not want to take it anyway, but she should have at least asked. And there were little flies constantly trying to get in our plates. We are done with this restaurant. How sad...

   RODS IS NOT OPEN FOR LUNCH. I was not guided this way when I made the reservation. Disappointed we were seated in the Red Dog Tavern, when the reservation was for Rods, and not told prior. Food was average. (They used to have the best Cobb salad with filet mignon!).

   For the price it was not the best food. It was not bad just not great. The ambiance was the best part. Very interesting setting. Service was great too.

   Seated in the train car and waited 30 min for someone to take drink order, then had to track a waiter down 15 min later to take dinner order. Food was mediocre at best. Charged NYC steakhouse prices and no where near the quality. After dinner had to track someone down to get bill. No one ever came to table to clear or offer dessert. We will never be back

   Everything was awesome food was delicious. The only thing i would say is to double check your bill. My bill was $142. My credit card was charged $179.

    Calamari app was fried in old oil and tasted old . Shrimp and crab app was basic and small - 2 shrimp and 4 crab pieces for $21 . Surf and turf - well a poorly made frozen lobster tail and decent filet - but over priced . A lot of salt used in cream spinach and mushroom sides . Old restaurant with history but fast becoming history in its own right
