The Roaring Fork offers bold American wood-fire cooking with fine dining atmosphere. We serve dinner nightly starting at 5pm and Happy Hour daily from 4pm - 6pm in our bar and lounge area only. Sorry, no reservations for Happy Hour. Our bar and lounge is always open seating. Reservations are always recommended for dinner. Thank you for your interest and we hope to serve you soon.

    The food was delicious, and the portions are HUGE (so order less). The wait staff was attentive and friendly but completely professional. I'll go again when I'm in Austin next time!

    Rather disappointing experience at Roaring Fork. The food came out lukewarm at best (even after being sent back) and the service was less than satisfactory. Our waitress was nice but never present. This place also upcharges for whiskey neat. Waitress said that it takes more whiskey to pour it neat than if they poured it over ice. Very suspicious and questionable.

    This restaurant was highly recommended by Ike from Austin Detours. We had a wonderful experience celebrating my Birthday. Dakota took great care of us and the kitchen absolutely blew us away with the perfection they put on our table. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and exceptionally seasoned. My wife’s shrimp were cooked precisely the way she like them. The French Onion soup was one of the best I’ve tried. For desert my wife had the raspberry sorbet and I had the apple pie with Amy’s cinnamon ice cream. Oh.. the drinks! My wife had a super refreshing Blood Orange margarita and I had a maple and bacon old fashion. Everything was fabulous.

    Drinks took a long time. When my martini came, there were large chunks of ice and was not drinkable. Our side dishes we ordered with steak were wrong. We ordered mashed potatoes and got green chile Mac n cheese delivered.

    It was me an my lady’s anniversary and we wanted a nice dinner downtown. The food was pretty good but it seemed like the server was annoyed that we were even there. Basically ignored me 75% of the time were at the table. It took forever to get a drink and if I finished a drink, my lady basically had to order me another one. Overall it was good food, but pretty poor service.

    Very special 40th anniversary. Our concierge had asked for a nice table snd special services. None happened. Had to sit at a two top high table in bar to escape noise. Had huge 50 person table in main room and very loud bachelor party in small room. No special treatment for anniversary. Lastly my husband went for the rib eye. Sold out. I’m sure they were held for the large parties. Would not go back.
