At Bright Brewery, we brew an adventurous range of independent craft beers on the banks of the Ovens River, in the heart of Bright, Victoria.

Family-owned and fiercely independent, Bright Brewery was born from a passion for well-made beer, a love for the town of Bright, and the adventurous outdoors lifestyle that the High Country provides. We are also a three-time Gold Medal Winner for Best Tourism Brewery in Victoria!

Come and join us for a MountainCrafted beer and a delicious fresh meal by our Head Chef Jarrod Smith and his team.

Our Spring/Summer menu features brilliant local produce from Bright and surrounds with options for everyone - including salads, sides, pizzas, sharing boards, mains and kids meals.

Select a MountainCrafted beer from our 24 taps or a glass of local wine, sit back and enjoy beautiful Bright.

    Great place, staff were very friendly and helpful. Hot wings were fantastic ( big serving ), great pizza’s, all our other meals were very good too. Highly recommend a visit, also the local beer’s are great have to grab a few extras to take home.

    Great meals as per always. We had booked but there were plenty of spots to sit in and outside (probably given the day- it was a Thursday lunchtime). We had treated our family to a Hero's Board. This easily fed 4 adults and 1 child. It had loads of different pieces to try such as ribs, wings, sausage along with 2 salads, chips and 3 sauces. Our teenager had a pepperoni pizza which was devoured- best crust ever apparently!! Environment was very pleasant and the cool inside was most welcome on such a warm day!

    2 piece male band was perfect.4 adults and 3 three year olds danced from 3.30pm uninterrupted.food and service to our table faultless. Thanks for a great family afternoon.

    Awesome place! The staff are so attentive and all over everything. Food delicious and comes out of the kitchen very fast. Lovely vibe.

    Food was delicious, we reserved a table 3 months in advance and was kicked off it 1 hour after we sat down, I hadn’t even finished my lunch and had to leave half my plate and my drink that I paid 18 dollars for.

    Great to have some nice vegan options back on the menu, and thumbs up for the flexibility of the kitchen staff to “veganise” staples on the menu. Thanks!

    Beers and food highly overpriced. My chicken burger was off, and therefore, it tasted and smelt off. After taking it back, they then brought it back out saying it was "twice cooked" I didn't want it cooked again, I wanted a new burger. After asking whether it was the same piece of chicken, the waiter replied with "I couldn't tell you" At $30 for the burger and fries, you'd expect better quality food. I would of gotten a better chicken burger from Maccas or KFC for half the price. We are locals (within 50mins drive) and we feel that the Bright Brewery unfortunately have lost touch with the local community and are catering for the "City Type" folk. Get back to basics, like a more famous Brewery in Bridge Road Brewery, an hours drive down from Bright.

Unfortunately, there was a communication breakdown during your visit due to new staff training on that shift. We've addressed this to ensure better experiences moving forward. We use high-quality ingredients and have strict quality control for our burgers (we prepare hundreds daily!). We'd love to invite you back for a complimentary beer and meal to show you our commitment to quality. Just contact the venue manager to redeem.
