    We went to The Fernery for a small engagement party and the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend!

    Amazing. Love it. Can't wait to go back. The chef came and ensured we were happy. Couldn't have asked for more.

    The venue's decor and menu has had a facelift in the last couple of years which makes me want to go back, but only if I have nowhere else to be afterwards. We had a fixed end time (7.15) and arrived at 6.15. We had to call over the staff to order as they were not watching the floor closely. We ordered 4 meals, (1x vege burger, 1x barra, 2x fish and chips) and the wait staff did not write the order down. But they had an iPad - that they didn't use to record our order - what gives? We informed the staff member we had a fixed end time and they assured us that the food would be prepared quickly. We ordered 2x wine and a juice. The juice never arrived (though it was also not on our bill, so that's ok - sort of). 20 minutes later (getting to 6.50pm) we had the wait staff come to us and say "Did you get 1x burger and 3x barra?" to which we replied, no, 1x burger, 1x barra, 2x fish and chips and the staff said "so sorry the order's mixed up, it will be 10 minutes" - our fixed end time rapidly approaching we looked a little put out. To the kitchen's credit the order arrived a little less than 10 minutes later, and the food was delicious. The barra and vege burger were great. The fish and chips were pretty standard, but well cooked. Just let down by the staff. They did comp 1 meal for the inconvenience but I feel for a small place, with plenty of staff on duty, and a fast kitchen, they were really really let down by the service.

    We had a family brunch here and it was great. Not many people know it is open for brunch so it was quiet and we were well attended.
