Westreme restaurant in Mellieha designed to entertain the whole family for lunch and dinner in a bright space with breathtaking views of Mellieha Bay. The variety of food available makes sure that both parents and kids get to enjoy their meal in a welcoming environment. Whilst making sure all pizza lovers are happy we have also created dishes that will enrich your meal. These include a selection of pastas and meats. A dedicated healthy menu for kids was also developed. The restaurant is also equipped with a dedicated area for children to entertain themselves safely. Our name is derived from the historically significant Westreme Battery that is located just around the corner. Built by the Order of St. John in 1715, this was actually the first line of defence breached by the French invaders in 1798. Over the years, the building was modified, restored and adapted for different uses. Today, only parts of it remain standing as a lasting testament to its illustrious past.

    Super food, great location, and wonderful service, especially by the maltese lady who is always there, treats customers like royalty. We go there often, and she is amazing.

    It was very disappointing, last year we used to go there all the time but this year the menu became limited, overpriced for the food you get and the one chef was to excited playing with fire the kitchen almost caught on fire.

    Came here to eat to avoid all inclusive buffet restaurant in hotel, had read a couple of reviews and settled on this place. Waitress was lovely and had a good sense of humour too. We sat outside over looking water which was nice. Food was beautiful and all hot! Portion size was huge, I had a pasta dish and went for main portion but it was enough for two easily. Husband had steak and it was beautifully cooked and seasoned. Daughter had burger which she said was the best burger she had ever eaten. Best bit was healthy options for kids so the youngest had a welcome change from chicken nuggets and chips. Overall great evening. Had cocktails and desert too.

    Beautiful views from Westreme and staff were very pleasant and efficient and brought out a cake and candle for our birthday celebration. We loved the food and had a great evening!

    Ribs were very dry. Asked for sauce on the side when ordering but Was told that it was pre prepared and could not have it on the side. Other food was good. Overall not as good as we are used to from the restaurant.
