- NNancyVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •77 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoColumbus Inn is the best choice for brunch in this area. Excellent food and service and moderate prices. The only criticism I have is that when there is a large group, and there often is, the noise level is really loud. This is Moore the fault of guests who seem to need to out show each other. But if you go at 10 AM, you can generally Have a quiet table and a very nice meal indeed.More infoColumbus InnPrice: Moderate• American• Wilmington•4.7

- RRyanNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoServer was hands down a 10/10. Unfortunately being so busy, it was to be understood given the date. Was hoping for slightly better preparation from management. However, this place is still phenomenal.More infoBardea SteakPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilmington•4.7
- WWhitneyVIPPhiladelphia County •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe love bardea- the food is inventive, delicious, and always changing. I did notice the portions were considerably smaller on the tri tip with Guava Bernaise- a particular favorite we get when we're there. I know things are tough all over, but this was the only disappointing thing in a spectacular meal. I recently heard they were up for a James Beard award and I could not be more excited for them- it's just always a lovely night out.More infoBardea Food & DrinkPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.8
- SSueVIPPhiladelphia County •29 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOur server Larry was knowledgeable, gracious, and checked in with our party just often enough. His service elevated our experience and he even caught in passing it was one of our birthdays. Sparkler on our shared dessert was a nice touch without making the birthday gal the center of the entire restaurant's attention.More infoCapers & LemonsPrice: Moderate• Italian• Greenville•4.7

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover Delaware
Known as "The First State," Delaware is also first on the list for East Coast diners to discover a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of nearby larger cities without even needing to book a plane ticket. With most of the state bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it's the perfect place to experience the dining delights of the sea. Those with a gusto for shellfish can crack into their own whole, grilled lobster, or kick back and enjoy a cold beer and oysters Rockefeller while enjoying the beauty of sandy beaches and nearby wetlands. Those who yearn for old favorites with new twists will find their beach sandals knocked off by goat cheese and rosemary pizza. The coast never tasted so good.
