Lovely setting on a very frosty winter day. Will be nice to sit outside in the sunshine in the summer. Will definitely return, maybe lunch or dinner next time.More infoElkwater Bar & BistroPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Ponteland•4.7
- HHeleneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoGreeted and taken to our table upstairs. The restaurant even at 12:50 was very busy. Lovely cozy clean vibe busy with staff who were very attentive. We were shortly over to a better table by the window which was also a little larger. I had a voucher for my birthday. Don’t know how they knew, but they gave me a glass of champers which was so kind. We both went for the Sunday roasts, both cooked beautifully but unfortunately were on the tepid side (we like our gravy steaming) so it chilled the food a little. I also had a pear and almond pudding with extra hot (I asked) custard, Devine. We would definitely recommend this Bistro, prices were moderate also. Cant fault the service. Looking forward to going back.More infoThe Broad CharePrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8

- TTerryNewcastle and Northumberland •10 reviews4.0Dined on 2 Jan 2025We ordered a garl8c bread starter to share, with two min courses to follow. The main courses arrived fairly quick, with the starter course following! We agreed to rake them both together, however, the garlic bread was undercooked, so we asked for it to be reheated. We did received a replacement 15 or so minutes later, but to be honest, it was only slightly better than the first one. We ate what we could, bit left the majority of it, which was just a slippy mess. The main courses were excellent however, steaming hot, and full of prawns. It salvaged the experience fprnus.More infoFratello's Newcastle AirportPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.2
