Gas City Restaurants

We have a party of 12 friends who like to go out to dinner together. We have had some places where we were not served very well or our food wasn’t prepared at the same time. Ron’s restaurant was not like this at all, We had wonderful food and it was all served at the same time by a very friendly staff who even sang happy birthday with us. The restaurant was very well decorated and clean, in a nice location downtown Anderson with easy parking access. Several of our friends mentioned that this restaurant would be very popular in the Indianapolis area but this small town traffic and hospitality was very much appreciated by all. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who enjoys a hand cut steak or a wonderfully dry aged steak that is out of this world. 10 out of 10 is my rating Please check it out

Had a reservation for 7:15, arrived early enough for a drink at the bar. Great service and tasty mixed drinks; I especially liked Hayden’s Special Sidecar. Dinner was in a small front room with three tables; however one was a large party of 12-15 people so it was a bit louder than expected. The crab cakes, filet and ribeye were delicious, my date was doubtful it would live up to the price point, but even he stated that dinner exceeded his expectations. Parking was clearly marked in a private lot, restaurant was beautifully decorated with prohibition- style music playing.

I eat here often! This is Marion's best kept secret. The ONLY reason I didn't 5 Star this on everything is because they had a huge Christmas Party so it wasn't quite the same with a lot more people and slower service. I will be back and often!!!

Had the best experience, the place was incredibly busy but our appetizer and meal were both on time just perfect and we had the best service !!!

Great Christmas lunch with a friend. I chose 1933 because we both love it! Two perfect Martinis, ribeye and prime rib served by Manny who took great care of us. 1993 is the spot for lunch or dinner.
