- SScottVIPGrand Rapids / Western Michigan •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat choice. Bowdies or Capital is always a debate in Lansing but Capital edged them out in this case. Meting our son’s new girlfriend for the first time so it was a semi special event. Waiters gave us enough space to talk without constant intrusion and lessened the nerves all around. Enough menu choices for the girlfriend to not have to get the most expensive steak. Son got his 60 pound ribeye so he was thrilled. Apparently grad students are like hummingbirds consuming their weight in calories daily. My wife loved the perfectly prepared filet and the espresso martini’s and I savored my one glass of the house Cabernet (designated driver). Overall great food, exemplary service, great atmosphere and though expensive, was still a value for the experience.More infoCapital Prime Steaks and SeafoodPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Lansing•4.3

The wine tasting room is an excellent way to try a few things before committing to a glass with your meal.More infoToscana RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• East Lansing•4.3
- AAlfredDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI had the ginger salmon, and it was very good. We also ordered some oysters as an appetizer and they were small and just okay. Was disappointed as we were there a few years ago and they were fantastic, don’t know what they changed but I won’t have them again. Service was great, our waitress was timely and friendly.More infoMitchell's Fish Market - LansingPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Lansing•4.4

The combination of a classic chicken sandwich with an Asian twist was amazing. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had!More infoThe People's KitchenPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Lansing•4.8
