        Once again a last wonderfull dinner at Zenkichi! Very sad, that Zenkichi will close its doors soon . Through all the years we have been always fascinated by the superb food and the special atmosphere which gave us the feeling of being in a different town on holiday. I hope that one day Zenkichi will come back! Thank you to the whole team of Zenkichi!

        Ich war am ursprünglichen Ort in der Johannisstrasse schon essen und sehr begeistert von authentischer japanischer Küche. Nun wollte ich kurz vor der Schließung am Alternativort unbedingt noch einmal essen. Der historische Ort im alten Mitte ist gut geeignet. Das Essen liebevoll und wieder sehr authentisch. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, das die Gänge ausführlich erklärt. Das trifft auch auf sechs verschiedene Sake zu. Wir haben etwa zwei Stunden gebraucht, bis alles probiert war. Für mich ein emotionaler Abend aus privatem Anlass. Vielen Dank und hoffentlich bald wieder an neuem Ort in Berlin!

        The food was amazing. We took the 5 course menue with different variations of sake. The food was outstanding quality and the service was very friendly. The seating was very nicely arranged with lots of privacy.

        Service excellent, wonderful ambience and taste experience great, but not exceptional - and in this sense it was somewhat overpriced. There are a lot of extras if you want a full experience as only one glass of sake is included as an aperitif.

        Food was very high quality and well-prepared. However at this price level I would expect each bite to be transportingly delicious, whereas it was mostly just very nice. Service was impeccable - very courteous and attentive. Ambience was lovely and hushed, however at this price level I would expect very special interior design.

        We had an excellent dinner at Zenkichi last night. The food was outstanding and we had a superb waitress, Kelly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
