   Location was great, the restaurant is fun and lively, but still easy to hear. Food is excellent, every dish we had was unique. It’s tapas style, so you get to try a lot of amazing. Interesting food.

   Food was excellent. We ordered lamb, scallops, salmon, brussel sprouts and cauliflower - all were delicious. Prices were reasonable. Outside seating was crowded. Walking through tables in the outdoor dining area was a tight squeeze. The waiter for our table of two had difficulty managing his tables. We sat down at around the same time our neighboring table of two were seated. We sat without any service for 15min, while our neighbors already had water and wine service. However, with all that said, I absolutely would return.

   I made the reservation for the three of us - 2 from Denver & 1 from Richmond to enjoy a fun Saturday night meal together after meeting in DC and visiting museums. Reservation was for 4:45 and we were seated after a brief delay, at around 5 PM. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - 6 of the 7 items we ordered were absolutely outstanding. The other was acceptable but not a favorite. The staff was accommodating to my companion who required strict gluten-free dining. I paid our bill upon finishing the meal and left a tip of over 20%. I note that because at 6:15 PM (after the completed bill was picked up) and only one hour and 15 minutes after being seated, we were told that there were reservations waiting to be seated, or something along those lines. We realized that the exact same size table next to us, where 2 individuals were seated, had been there well before us as they had plates on the table when we arrived, and were not asked to leave. That treatment really offended us after an otherwise fun evening. We promptly left.

   I was very disappointed by our visit! Service was very slow. Then a child committed all over multiple times. It smelled disgusting. We had to ask to move tables. It took over ten minutes for them to begin to clean it up. Was so disappointed in our food and service today.

    The food was excellent as usual, but the service was very poor. Other people seemed to be having great and quick service, so it must have been our server. Still, this was a birthday lunch and this is not an inexpensive restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion going forward. Our waiter forgot about us the entire visit. We had to flag down a different waiter to take our order. He said he would pass along the order to our waiter. Then, there was an incredibly long delay to get our food (people who were sat 30 minutes after us received their food long before us). We had to get up and talk to another waiter to finally get our food. After we got our food, no one checked to see if it was ok or if we wanted to get order something else (small plates so we wanted to order more). Someone else finally took over our table, refilled our water, and offered a dessert menu, but I didn’t want to give them any more of my money so I declined and we left hungry. We were offered free coffee to apologize for the delay, but there was no appearance from the manager.
