                                                                          We had a 6:00 pm reservation for 4 and it was busy but the took off from front to “clean table” and did not return. In the meantime they seated other people with reservations. Finally after 15 minutes my husband said something and we finally got seated. It was as if they did not have a table for us.

                                                                          Wonderful wait staff, very accommodating, super friendly, great food and not that humdrum fare. I would recommend this place for any age over 16. I shall return to Ya-Ya’s.

                                                                          Must have been a busier than usual Tuesday evening, or maybe they were short staffed. We sat for quite awhile with no attention, so we finally grabbed a server who was walking by. She apologized that she didn’t realize that we were in her section. Overall, service was on the slow side for the rest of the evening. On a positive note, the manager stopped by and chatted for a while. We were celebrating two birthdays and were comped two HUGE birthday desserts. They were decadent and delicious. Our meals were wonderful, and we will return.

                                                                          Everything was fantastic; however, I am frequently annoyed with the hostesses, who act arrogantly, as if they are superior to everyone. And I am particularly annoyed when they make you anxious while they search the website endlessly before seating my party----in a nearly empty restaurant. That said, the food is wonderful, the servers are wonderful, and so is the ambiance. I give this restaurant 5 stars. Ken B.

                                                                          It was my first experience dining at ya ya’s and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s difficult to present a thanksgiving menu and hold items for long periods of time. My suggestions would be to replace the green bean casserole with sautéed green beans because the sauce was broken and liquid in the bottom is not appetizing. Also, forget the baby whole carrots and use cut diagonal regular size carrots that will absorb the glaze. A little brun on the carrots too. Turkey was very enjoyable. Wonderful salad selections! Service was excellent! I hope staff was rewarded for their success. I look forward to being a study patron. Thank you for being in Salina.
