   I've had exceptional experiences at Yardbird many times before. But this particular visit was just so-so. The meal took a while to prepare while the restaurant was relatively empty as it was a bit in between lunch and dinner. Two of the meals were delivered at the proper temperature while the last was not even warm and appeared and tasted like leftovers BBQ from lunch or even the day before. Yardbirds can and should do better.

   Very disappointing! Food arrived before drinks, chicken and waffles were served without any of the condiments sauces and syrup, had to ask twice, were brought halfway through meal, asked for napkins, delivered much later, offered a complimentary dessert for a birthday only to find it charged to the bill. I he waiter came by only after we asked other waiter or hostess for service. When paying bill the with tip already charged tip at 18%, the waiter asked if we wanted to add tip? We said it’s already on bill, he then said oh that’s just regular tip, would you like to add an additional tip? Yardbird was our annual go to on first day of our trip to Miami! Now this restaurant is just a tip machine, no service! Beware!

    It’s a real pleasure to travel and have a dining experience worth its reputation. Yardbird hits it all out of the park! Service, food & of course great food & drink. We had the Texas Twinkie, fried chicken, filet & shrimp & grits. Cocktails were impressive with lots of bourbon choices. Oh we did save room for key lime pie.
