Yampa Valley Kitchen is a beloved neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs serving BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER crafted with local, organic & carefully source ingredients.

Our full bar offers up fabulous coffee, lattes and a variety of craft cocktails & 0-proof options as-well.

Breakfast and Lunch all day from 7:30am-2:30pm
Open for Dinner Tuesdays-Saturdays from 4:00- close.
Happy Hour from 4:00-5:30 with Half Price Specialty Cocktails, 30% off wine by the glass & appetizer

We ask that if you are running late please give us a call at 970-875-3989 as we can only hold tables for 15 minutes.

    We are locals and this was our first time here for dinner. The staff was very accommodating and service was excellent. The food overall was very good. Steak au poive and duck a ‘orange were quite good. Bartender and server were both excellent on wine suggestions We enjoy cooking so don’t feel the need to go out unless it is special. Yampa Valley kitchen made it to our list of 4-5 restaurants that we will frequent.

    The service was great. Our server was attentive and efficient. The food was ok. Shrimp and grits was not as expected. Small plates were great. Crab and jalapeño hush puppies as well as the mushroom soup top notch.

    At 84 minutes we barely had drinks, no apps or dinner. It’s just too slow in the kitchen. Stellar food. So just wait

    Be aware they will charge you more if you require additional salad dressing. When I confronted the waiter his response was "yeah, they charge for all the extras here". While delicious, I did not appreciated the additional charges when already spending 25 dollars on a salad.

    Really good avocado toast. The potatoes are great too! The sausage patties are so yummy!! The pistachio latte was yummy too! Love the place
