We do not take reservations for 2, it just doesn't work in our dining room. We have 2 high tops that we use for walk-ins, and also 6 tables in an outdoor insulated/heated area. So if you can't get a reservation, still come try us as we do save certain space for walk-ins.

Please note the time you have been allotted for you and your party to complete your meal! Please don't be late, leave early if it is snowing! Call us with any questions/changes.



There’s a reason we’re perched down by the river. In fact, the view right outside is a nice little reminder that life is better when you go with the flow. The only thing that might make it better are some ice cold drinks, Texas-style smoky ‘cue and the company of your favorite fellow humans. So come in, take a seat, order up somethin’ good, crack open a cold one and let the good times flow like the Yampa.

    Very average. At a bbq place you expect the bbq to be spot on. We all had something different. Chicken, ribs, brisket all dry and very tough. Potato was underdone and not very warm 5$ side of cornbread was a 2x2 square. Overall would not go back. Server very nice but lacked attentiveness, we had to flag her down and ask for more water, sour cream the check etc. .

    Fun dinner after kids skied at Howelsen Hill. Everyone enjoyed their meals, sides were especially good. Kids all got dessert and were happy.

    Ice House is a must visit place when you’re in Steamboat. They deliver an overall great experience- top notch food, service. and ambience. Their backyard is on the Yampa River is great in summer and their indoor space is super cozy in winter. I am from Kansas City and have high BBQ standards. Ice House lives up to my standards.

    We enjoyed a meal for our group of 10 people. Unfortunately we were placed near the kitchen so ambience and experience of a lovely restaurant experience was missed. I thought an online booking would ensure a table in the restaurant where the main diners were. But the staff were attentive and the food and service was excellent. Well done.
