Yamamori North City is located in the heart of Dublin, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge. Opened in 2007, the restaurant is located in two stunning Georgian Houses and boasts original features which fit well into our modern Japanese theme. In this stunning restaurant, we display some beautiful 19th-century Japanese artwork, and also original Samurai Artifacts.

Yamamori North City is perfect for all occasions and parties, no matter how big or small. Sushi, Tempura, Japanese Grill & Ramen are prepared fresh daily and are some of our staple favourites. We offer an extensive lunch menu that provides a quick yet satisfying option for those on a tight schedule. For dinner, our menu expands to include a variety of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes, allowing guests to experience a true taste of Japan in the heart of Dublin.

              Food is normally excellent, this time the Christmas menu was very disappointing. Quantity privileged over quality it would seem. Service was rushed as well. A real pity as I love this restaurant.

              our experience was very poor, they tried to cgharge us €48 service charge for a table of 4 people and the service was poor rude and unwelcoming by the lady hostess.

We would like to clarify that you had booked our sake experience, a special pre-set menu. Unfortunately once this menu has been booked, it cannot be swapped for an a la carte option, as the chefs allocate specific ingredients and preparation time for it. Regarding the service charge, this is added for tables for 3 or more and is discretionary.               The manager couldn’t find our online booking when we arrived and seemed disinterested in accommodating us even though the restaurant wasn’t full. He reluctantly seated us. When he returned to take our order he was less than cordial, certainly didn’t break a smile. The food was tasty, portions were large and food was served in good time. Other members of staff were very friendly and pleasant. The prices weren’t cheap and we were slightly surprised to see that they charged a service charge of 12.5% on tables of more than 3 people which we felt was a bit steep and meant we had to reward the poor service we received. Overall a tasty meal but I won’t be returning

              Really attentive staff with delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Used to eat there at least once a month before Covid and loved that it is still stupendous and even had one of the same staff members as the last time I was there which is always a good sign.
