Yakitori Boy is a premier izakaya destination in Philadelphia! We serve a variety of tapas style dishes (japas), sushi and a variety of yakitori. Everything was great except for the drunk guy with his girl who tried to start something with my husband as we entered the restaurant. Otherwise, a great night !

The food is really not good (our dishes were overcooked and flavorless), coupled with some of the worst service (wondered if there was something wrong with our waiter, it was bizarre how rude). The only positive thing I can think of is they serve draft beer in well chilled mugs.

The food was good for the price. Good portions and tasty. The restaurant could use an update in some of the furnishings but overall a cool place. The noise can get a bit loud but it is karaoke bar so just keep that mind.

portions are small. we tried the spicy tuna bites, and those were not at all what we expected. sushi is also kinda overpriced- in terms of the specialty rolls

Wonderful last minute late night eating! So thrilled that they still have their crème brûlée cheesecake! And the sweet potato tempura and the sweet potato tempura roll, and the shrimp tempura and shrimp tempura roll and edamame and miso soup… Exciting people watching! They had Wednesday specials that really helped!!
