   We went for an anniversary meal here as its where we had our first date 10 years ago. This time we brought along our 2 kids. The food was very nice and the staff were friendly.

   Last minute booking got us in, very polite friendly helpful team, absolutely spot on grub and selection of drinks. will be going back in the future.

   Wonderful food with friends, plenty to chose from on the menu and specials board, good price for quality dishes. Only fault was the extra long wait for the coffee!

   Lovely venue & attentive staff, the best freshly prepared food we have had in a long time. Reasonable costs but worth every penny and very good in portion size. Definitely a venue we will return to for a treat on special occasions.

   Another great meal, lovely pub, brilliant service, fantastic beers - just a tad on the pricey side, but worth it! Bring on the summer and the beer garden.

   Very nice meal catered for gluten free . Had gluten free crumble with soya milk custard which was lovely as unable to have milk (which was also vegan on menu hence the soya milk custard ). My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was good , both large portions. The main was belly pork with veg and a nice tasty gravy which was gluten free, and the other main was stuffed chicken breast with a sauce and veg . Really recommend

   We had the pork belly & lamb roasts, both were really really tasty. Portion sizes were good and the service was quick & friendly

    We love going here , it’s a lovely homely pub . A good old fashioned pub , with a lovely thatched roof . Great beers , ciders and ales and the food is amazing . A lovely restaurant with a wood burner . The bar area allows dogs . It’s also has a “ specials menu “ We have the ale Yorkie - fab Visit , you won’t be disappointed
