   While checking in we were rudely greeted by the manager. Her behavior was highly unprofessional. Our party of eight waited a hour and a half for our orders of the filet mignon and ribeye plates to get to us. The food was on the verge of being cold by the time received. The ribeyes were not cooked to well done as asked. This was the first visit for my seven guests and I boasted about my previous visits of quality at this restaurant and this experience has left them with a negative experience and not wanting to return here again.

   This was a Valentine's Day special dinner. It was pretty busy and I suspect they were a bit short on staff but the service and food were great! We will definitely go back again.

   5:15 reservations, seated promptly. Placed orders and waited nearly an hour for our main course. Server was very apologetic, it wasn’t her fault. Food was very good when we were finally served.

   Good was very bland and mediocre for the price. Could grab a better steak at Texas Roadhouse. Waitress was sweet

   Ambiance , Service , Wines , Food Taste all EXCELLENT ! We have dined in 5* restaurants throughout America . This was a 5* restaurant experience ; management please keep it that way !

   We did the New Years 5 course meal and it was everything and more. The thing I love about this place beyond the atmosphere is that seriously some of the food tastes like my grandma made it and I mean that in the most wholesome sincere way. Just such impressively yummy food that seriously feels like heart is put into it and I guess I just love that aspect when you take cost into consideration!

   It is apparent that I had a reservation because you have record of it. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was told that they would be closing in 2 minutes. The hostess did some looking and told me again that I did not have a reservation and that they were closing. My daughter and granddaughters arrived and I asked again about getting served. the hostess left and came back and told us that she had visited with her food and beverage manager and we were told that we could be served. We were seated and given menus and a couple of minutes later the hostess came back out and offered her apologies and told us that the chefs had left the building already. There were no other people in the restaurant and the tables were all set up. There was no aroma of food that would lead a person to believe that a chef had even been in the place that day. The only two people we saw there was the hostess and another gal who was behind the bar drying glasses. We had a gift certificate that was issued to be good for that December 15th only. I made a reservation. I had every reason to believe that myself, my daughter and granddaughters were going to have a special meal at Woodbury's before we went to the symphony that afternoon. I asked the hostess when would be the best time to come there to eat on a Sunday and she told us Sunday was not really a good day to come there to eat. Yet I had a $200 certificate that was dated for that day ONLY. We did not eat there as there was no food available to eat. The hostess was polite but there were massive holes in her story. The whole experience was very disappointing. The hostess did change our certificate to be good until the end of the month. so hopefully I might get back to Sioux City before the end of the year and hopefully they will be open. I will call ahead of time for sure though. I really would have thought that the reservation would have been sufficient the last time though.

   I had an incredible dining experience at Woodbury Steakhouse! From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing. The food was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and exceeded all expectations. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional, which made the evening even more enjoyable. It’s clear that the team here is dedicated to creating a top-notch experience for their guests. My family and I will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

    Tried the Haibut and braised pork shank. Both were great. Our server was also great!
