Located just north of the Demere Rd. round-a-bout in Redfern Village, in the heart of St. Simons Island, we offer a full bar, a wide selection of appetizers and seafood with an extensive raw bar and feature a pristine marsh view. Oyster offerings rotate from aquacultures up & down the East Coast, and are available raw or steamed as well as stuffed & baked. Meat eaters fear not! We offer a Filet, NY Strip and Pork Ribeye that will compete with any steakhouse in the area.

Enjoy cocktails & appetizers and enjoy the marsh view from the lounge on our back porch!

Notable appetizers include the Raw Oysters (of course!), Old Bay Chicken Wings, Drunken Clams and Southern Crab Dip. You can also, graze on a Double Cheeseburger, Po' Boy or Fish Tacos.

For dinner, Chef Ben's Special of the Day usually takes top billing, but the Seared Scallops with Tasso Cream and Shrimp & Grits with Red Eye Gravy are popular too. However, the Seared Pork Ribeye with Guajillo Butter is an unsuspecting hit!

I don't like writing negative reviews, but the owner/cook (I doubt this was cooked by a chef) need to be aware of our experience. The service was A++. I ordered Johnny Walker Black and they didn't have it which is unusual and the scotch selection was sub par. The server did recommend a great beer. I ordered shrimp and grits and was surprised at the way they looked. The grits were plated with an ice cream scoop, which meant they were not creamy at all. They were unsalted and uneatable. The shrimp were swimming in a broth like low country boil. I ate one shrimp and needed to spit it out, but didn't want to do that a cloth napkin. The shrimp were under cooked and not blackened. I also had a sided of collards that were uneatable. They were only seasoned with strong vinegar and I didn't eat them either. The waiter came to check on us again and asked if I needed a box. I said, no thanks, you can take the plate. He said he would take that off of the ticket and I said, that's not fair, I'll pay half. The restaurant is beautiful but the food was not good at all. Maybe my palette is used to my southern creamy cheese grits cooked with half and half and no water. Also, my son is a chef and I'm used to his outstanding blackened shrimp. Whoever was the cook that night did a poor job.

We were on St Simon’s for the holiday week and needed a spot to accommodate a very large party for dinner. Not only did they give us a reso on a busy Friday night, but Lorna took such great care of us! Food was delish and service was too.

The food was disappointing. The oysters were not well cleaned and very small. After we had ordered they informed us they were out of fried chicken. Fries seemed soggy like they had been cooked somewhat earlier. Overall the quality was much below what we have had there in the past. We will not be in a rush to go back.

This restaurant was great fun. The service was excellent. The drinks were good. The food was outstanding for basically a fried seafood kind of place. The music was way too good for the 5 o’clock show on Sunday!. Will be back soon.
