   Our meal was disappointing at best. We ordered the Calabrian pizza with a honey drizzle and it was coated in honey so that’s all you could taste. We shared a ribeye and the server highly encouraged us to add on Alaskan king crab. It literally was 3 smaller than 1/2 a pencil size pieces with very little actual crab meat. The ribeye was very salty and fat hadn’t rendered so there were solid pieces of fat. I took a friend there from out of town and it was a very poor showing for my lovely city of Sonoma.

   We had an awesome experience at Wit & Wisdom. We were in town for a Christmas party & had some extra time to eat the day before. We had the best server named Theresa. The meals were delicious. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely return. Thank you.

   We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at Wit & Wisdom. The restaurant really made us feel special. It was one of our favorite dining experiences ever. I only wish I didn't have a larger-than-planned lunch beforehand so I could eat more. I started with a smoky bourbon cocktail which hit the spot on a cold rainy evening. The octopus and chickpea dish was warm and savory with a spiced broth. I ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. It wasn't as a sticky and rich as the one I had in England years ago, but it was a nice end to the meal. We will definitely be back. I just wish the restaurant opened for lunch so we can go more often as a day trip.

   Four of us enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration on the patio. Everything was exceptional, but the service from Alexa was outstanding. Her knowledge, guidance and kindness made for a truly memorable evening. We loved it all: Endive salad with fresh crab, fresh falafels topped with ahi tuna, tagliatelle pasta with fresh truffles, perfectly cooked Filet and NY steaks, and roast chicken. My only regret was that the four of us didn’t get to enjoy the prix fixe Egyptian dinner… Hoping that will stay on the menu until we return for another celebration!

   The Waldorf salad was not very good. It was a few pieces of us with some knots on it. We told the waiter and they took it off our bill. The burger was excellent but very expensive 28 dollars.

   Great restaurant and service. The oysters was wonderful. The filet mignon was decent, but the fish was a bit bland and a little too dry. I wished it was more like melt in your mouth kind of consistency. The portion was a good size though and I enjoyed the veggies that went with it. We received complimentary little vanilla ice cream cones to celebrate our anniversary.

   We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide. Worst experience I’ve had in 20 years visiting the Valley. It started with our table not being ready, despite a reservation and the place not being full. We went to order a drink at the bar off their drink menu. Asked for a different type of tequila for one of their signature drinks and bartender recommended a different drink with different tequila. I believe their signature drinks are all pre-made therefore he couldn’t make the drink the way we wanted. When finally seated, we waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by the server. We had to stop the manager as he walked by the table. No one apologized, he asked the server to start waiting on us. Server took drink order, still no one acknowledging our dissatisfaction. So we left without a drink or dinner. Plenty of other great options in Sonoma.

   It's a nice place. food and service was good. If they fixed the loose toilet seats it would have been really nice! This is such a stupid thing for a restaurant to overlook. We'd go back , but with an adjustable wrench.

    Food was amazing. Service was terrible — from the hostess to the server in the bar area and even our main waitress was rude / sarcastic. Too bad because the food was delicious.
