Drinks are fantastic. Onion straws were quite tasty. Husband loves their burger. The breaded pork sandwich had great spice, texture, and flavor. Portions are generous.

My husband & both I LOVED the Iowa Gold burger, and our older son loved the Graduate burger! They also had a good kids menu for our 3 little ones, and we all agreed that the fries were some of the best we've had! The patio is a great place to listen to Friday night music & watch the kids play. Staff was very friendly & attentive, especially considering they were pretty busy. We will definitely be back!

I’ve always thought the food here was good. This was my first time trying the Iowa Gold burger, and WOW it was worth writing about. The service was good and things seemed a lot smoother then the last time I was in. Glad to see this place is starting to make a mark on Iowa city.

Lots of interesting options on the menu. Waygu burger was delicious. French fries were crispy and well seasoned. Great atmosphere with garage doors open to outside.

We had a really nice time here. Everyone was happy with their food, and the server was nice and accommodating. I should really give this 5 stars, but the music was too loud, making it difficult to eat and talk to one another. The jazz music was nice, just too loud for dining experience.

We had a confirmed reservation through OpenTable; however, when we arrived, there was a sign on the door that said, “Closed for a private event”. This was frustrating because we had tickets to a 7:30 show and had planned to get a convenient meal upon check-in at the hotel. Luckily, we were able to get a reservation at a lovely Italian restaurant near the Old Capital. The food, service and ambiance at this restaurant were perfect! I will probably need to double check all of my open table reservations with the restaurant, to make sure this does not happen again…and that defeats the convenience of the App!

Like other reviewers, we showed up and the restaurant said they don’t do reservations for event nights. We tried to call in advance to confirm reservations but the phone was never answered. On top of that, they weren’t serving off the menu. There was a free buffet, which was good but not expected and not everyone found something they liked. This was a one star visit if not for our server. Wish I caught her name. She went out of her way to find us places to sit and was super nice and gracious. Unfortunately her excellence was overshadowed by management errors.
