Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

Food & service were outstanding. Had Cod with oysters & pork- great flavors! The noise comment was due to an extremely loud patron at a neighbouring table - not the restaurant’s fault. We will definitely return when we visit Spokane.

I've dined in greasy spoons all the way up to some of the finest restaurants in the world. Great food can be had in many places. However, few restaurants I've visited achieve a perfect balance between absolutely remarkable cuisine, a down to earth atmosphere, as well as a happy and unpretentious wait staff like Wild Sage does. It really ranks among the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I'm grateful that I only live an hour and a half away (in Sandpoint, Idaho) when we want to visit. It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the food and the drinks are worth every penny. I consider it a great value and my wife and I leave Wild Sage amazed by the experience each and every time we visit. Thanks for knocking it out of the park once again!

We had a lovely meal at Wild Sage. The dish I enjoyed the most was the polenta fries. I am amazed at how the chef managed to keep the inside almost fluffy while the outside was perfectly crisp. And they were delicious! Our duck confit was also delicious. As always, we had great service and enjoyed the lovely, relaxing atmosphere.

I took my wife there for valentines. They had little heart decorations scattered on the table. Our server was very professional and friendly. For starters we ordered the pork belly and fig jam (on a bed of goat cheese) which was delicious but on the smaller side for $24. They brought pop overs to our table which are like warm crispy croissant puffs. She got the squid ink seafood fettuccine and I got the salmon with clams. The orange sauce with the salmon was very flavorful and probably our favorite part of the meal. The salmon was perfectly tender. The seafood fettuccine was just good. The coconut cake was tasty, and a good portion, but we found the tropical fruit reduction (which was also tasty) to be overpowering the cake's flavor. The vegan chocolate coconut "icecream" was extremely rich. It was like eating straight fudge but with a coconut base. The flavor was good, but it begs something to wash it down.

Great meal. Flank steak for Sheri, salmon and clams for me. Everything, including bacon and blue salad, was terrific. Alexandra was the perfect server. Wine was excellent!
