Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

    As always food great - drinks a reasonable price - always greeted with a smile . It was packed on a Wednesday night which tells the story - great Frankston gem .

    No where in Melbourne can you dine literally on the beach at this price. Some dishes can be a miss, but the majority are excellent. Highlights include spiced cauliflower bites, garlic bread, burgers and the roast lamb for two is the pick of the bunch. Highly recommended.

    A long-term favourite, however, was disappointed that Kilpatrick oysters are no longer on the menu. This needs to return for a 5 star review. Otherwise, it will always be a 4. Very busy at our booking time, on a Saturday evening. Was quite loud at times. However, service was good and we both enjoyed the food we ordered. Thank you for having us.

    Fabulous venue for a fabulous meal. Our go to as the meals are always delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. Our waitress was a gem!

    A very nice experience. We enjoyed the well-presented food chosen from a good and varied menu. The staff were friendly and helpful and the sea view across the bay at sunset was a superb backdrop to the dining experience. We found the dining area somewhat crowded, but maybe that's an indication of a good place to eat. We'll be back!
