   I booked the restaurant for a group of 6 ladies for an afternoon tea for my friends hen day. Due to being out of season the restaurant was very quiet, but this meant we were able to eat, drink and chat at our leisure. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and very good value for money. We all said we would definitely be back. Such a great spot, overlooking the river. Lots of outside seating too so we'll be sure to come by on a nice sunny day too.

   This place is epic i cannot fault anything. The way you also welcomed my dog Rosie the lab retriever was the icing on the cake.

   Lovely experience for our burns night supper. Was a busy evening but servers were attentive without being intrusive and we felt informed about where our food was and not rushed. Music could have been a bit louder, but overall ambience was lovely. Would recommend 100%

   Main course spoiled by serving on cold plates. Good which should have stayed got was cold as a consequence spoiling the consumption. Small error spoiled the experience.

   We dined to celebrate my husbands birthday. From start to finish we felt comfortable and very well attended to. The menu had a good variety which catered for all palates. The added “happy birthday” treat board was a lovely touch. Our server David was fantastic, he spoke to our little girl and included her each time he came to the table.

   Food was good and service was alright. The restaurant is located by the water, so the view was nice. We had booked the 3 course menu for £29 in advance through this app. However, service didn’t know anything about it and we ended up paying for each menu item separately, ending up with a significantly larger tab than originally anticipated.

    Lovely looking restaurant. Nice ambiance lots of diners and the Christmas decorations were lovely. Staff were pleasant. Ordered starters scotch egg and scallops both pleasant enough. My partner had a rib eye steak for main this was cooked correctly and he enjoyed very much. My main was sea bass. It wasn’t great although the fish was cooked through it was luke warm when it arrived with me. Unfortunately the mashed potato it was on top of was cold. I did let serving staff know when they asked. I was offered a side of chips but declined as I had finished my fish. I think I just made a poor menu choice.
