An upscale age-diverse crowd mingles at this popular neighborhood restaurant & gathering place east of Wash Park.
A covered strip on the south and west side with heat and misters makes for convivial outdoor seating (you just might see a neighbor). A beautiful lounge is off to the side. Elegant U-shaped bar. Romantic dining room with cozy interior. A spacious & stylish banquet room with its own patio and a presentation compatible 80” HDTV complete this restaurant for every occasion.
Dinners are mid-priced, with a nice selection of grilled seafood & steaks & several fancy pasta dishes. The lunch offerings include sandwiches, pizza, salads & pasta.

One of our favorites and we took old friends here for lunch. We all enjoyed our experience but parking at noon was much worse than expected so be prepared.

WPG has stood the test of time. Our dinners were all excellently prepared. There is definitely a crowd. Glad we came back to enjoy a birthday here.

I met with 2 other girlfriends and we shared 3 appetizers for lunch. They were all great tasting and enough that we didn't finish all of them! Had tiramisu for dessert which was delicious.

Service was speedy and helpful from all staff. Food was remarkably disappointing and overpriced, over seasoned, and over sauced. Five stars to the staff though who kept things moving.

The eggs Benedict were not hot. The serving size was very small. I was still hungry. I have dined here many times and usually it is very good
