My Wife and I enjoyed ourselves at the St Paddys day Buffett. We thought the Food was Very Good especially the Glazed Corn Beef, Lamb, and Pea Salad. The deserts were good and what we expect at Buffets everywhere. The one exception was the Bread Pudding and that was way above average for this type of meal and Venue. The one Complaint was the Lack of Staff. When we arrived, we were taken to a Table and seated. We waited quite a while (at least 20 minutes) with nobody acknowledging our existence. There were only two Servers apparent to us and they were both very busy. I eventually figured there was no Table Drink Service, so I went to the Bar to place our Order. Also, at the Bar, there was only two Bartenders, and they were Flat out busy making Drinks for about a hundred or more Patrons. It took me about 15 minutes to get two drinks and pay the Tab. When I returned to our table a Server had finally found us and had brought Ice Water. She was very apologetic for not getting to us sooner. Nothing personal about her, she was terrific and attentive every time she passed by our table. Soooo, that's about it. The food was good, the Venue is Nice, The Irish entertainment was a plus. The one thing that can destroy a business is the lack of Service. We will give the Service we received as above average, but the Staff being Shorthanded or Understaffed is inexcusable. We paid $158.00 plus Tip for the Buffet and two Drinks each. For the small town of Wareham, this is not totally unreasonable but also would not fall into a bargain category. Ownership may struggle to establish returning Patrons with the Staffing issue as outlined. We will return but will wait a few months to give them time to hire a few more Bartenders and Servers.
