    Our standard seats will be enough to make your space private. There will be no back-to-back contact with the customer behind you. Our standard seats are separated from their neighbours by clear board or wooden slats. All seats have a touch panel to order from.

  • Function Area for Large group

    Multiple dates available
    The function area can accommodate the largest number of people. The function area is the largest space and can be set up with tables to suit the number of guests and their needs. It is suitable for gatherings of approximately 9 to 32 people, but with the addition of the small space opposite, it can seat up to about 40 people. 2 session times apply on Friday and Saturday nights. All the set menus are available at dinner time only. If you would like to book a space for more than 21, please send the booking request to booking@wagayabrisbane.com.au This area is not always a private space. If you are in a group of less than 15 people, you may share the space with other guests.

  • Private Room

    Multiple dates available
    The very popular private rooms have no time limit on seating. The maximum capacity of each room is 8, 12, 14, and 18 people. It is highly recommended that you book in advance if you want to use the room. A $20 room charge will be added to your last bill. All the set menus are available only at dinner time. Enjoy your meal with your loved ones in a private room. There is a touch screen in each room, from which you can order. The traditional Japanese form of seating is known as "Hori-Gotatsu". You don't have to bend your knees to sit on the floor. You can sit on the floor with your feet in, just as you would in a chair, and cushions are available if you need them.

    We dine here often and it just keeps getting better! The sashimi (and other seafoods are so fresh. The wagyu steak is tender and tasty. And their cocktails are yummy and generous! Its a dun atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and smiley!

    This was my third visit to Wagaya and every time has been a wonderful experience! The food is incredible and the price is highly reasonable — we spent less than $150.00 between three of us which was unexpected! Definitely get your moneys worth :) Wagaya is one of my top Japanese restaurants to visit in Brisbane and I’ll continue to be a patron for the long run.

    Dinner for 4 in a private room - dishes came put very fast, easy ordering on the ipad, most dishes were good value for money. Nice venue with car parking in the opposite building which is hardy. Only negative - cardboard/disposable plates and forks provided when we were having our cake which we bought with us.
