With only four rooms available daily, advance booking is advised, A $20 room charge will be added to your last bill. Dine in comfort and privacy with a touch screen for effortless ordering. Enjoy traditional Japanese "Hori-Gotatsu" seating, which combines authenticity with comfort. Unlike standard floor seating, "Hori-Gotatsu" lets you extend your legs into a recessed space under the table, similar to a chair. All set menus are available only at dinner time. Create lasting memories with the perfect blend of tradition, privacy, and convenience.

    Amazing fresh true original Japanese food and very fresh. The meal prices are fantastic value for money. After visiting Japan, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Brisbane . We will be going back.

    Really disappointed with our experience on our anniversary. We had high hopes but the food was average for what we paid and the service was non existent. I thought they might have at least explained how to order using the tablet, but we were lucky to even get a smile! It’s a shame as I work in the valley and I had planned to bring the team here for our Christmas do. Definitely did not meet my expectations.

    Visiting Brisbane - so we booked weeks ahead. Our “booth” was right at the back of the restaurant with a view in to part of the kitchen (not a pleasant view of food prep). Food ordered - service quick & food was mostly very good. Finding the entrance to the restaurant not easy if you don’t know the area. Would probably dine here again but ask for a different seating location.

    We dine here often and it just keeps getting better! The sashimi (and other seafoods are so fresh. The wagyu steak is tender and tasty. And their cocktails are yummy and generous! Its a dun atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and smiley!

    This was my third visit to Wagaya and every time has been a wonderful experience! The food is incredible and the price is highly reasonable — we spent less than $150.00 between three of us which was unexpected! Definitely get your moneys worth :) Wagaya is one of my top Japanese restaurants to visit in Brisbane and I’ll continue to be a patron for the long run.

    Dinner for 4 in a private room - dishes came put very fast, easy ordering on the ipad, most dishes were good value for money. Nice venue with car parking in the opposite building which is hardy. Only negative - cardboard/disposable plates and forks provided when we were having our cake which we bought with us.
