Crafted by Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, the menu at Vulcania Mammoth features organic, local and seasonal ingredients and is known for its Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pastas, handcrafted salumi, and perfect pairings of wine, beer and craft cocktails.     We was not very happy with our dinner last night. We ordered strange tasting calamari and sad baked Ravioli Bolognese . The uninspired Caesar Salad with the addition of broccolini spears was odd. I would not go back there. However, our waiter was very nice.

    For a Sunday night it was quite busy and the kitchen seemed to have trouble keeping up. The service was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. Clearly not going above and beyond. Our three starters came in short succession so no trouble there. Drinks came fast too. But when it came to the main course, our three main courses came so far apart from each other that we didn’t overlap at all in eating them. We would take turns watching each other eat, which was quite strange. I think they must have come something like 10-15min apart. I must say that everything was absolutely delicious though. So it was a weird mix of delight with the food and disappointment with timing. Not sure what happened.

    Vulcania was awesome. The food was fantastic! Our server was giving us fantastic tips left and right, and recommended an awesome bottle of wine. This is definitely a fun place to go with great food and service!
