Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    Disappointing today unfortunately. We were there a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent. Food was cold and the meat was meagre. My daughter also ate there today separately and was also very disappointed. Maybe just a bad day

    Usually very good. The dishes we had were mostly good but the spuds weren’t particularly hot, the pork was tough and they forgot the fish dish (it was removed from the bill). In the whole time we were there we were only asked once about a drink, had to flag someone down in the end to get a second which took a really long time to arrive. But we still love this place, just wasn’t as good as usual.

    Incredible food, as always, impeccable. A few dishes every so slightly over salted but that could be my palette otherwise 10/10

    We had a lovely lunch here. The 3 small plates for £15 is excellent value, and the plates were far from small. So much food, and brought out when ready, so we could eat as amd when and share dishes. Absolutely delicious food.
