   Mello was amazing. Out of everyone we interacted with he provided the best customer service while assisting us at his table. The initial problem was that we entered the restaurant where three people walked directly past us and never addressed us and we stood there for exactly 15 minutes before a gentleman came down the stairs with an iPad and ask someone else What we were here for then he walked over and asked if I had a reservation, asked for my name and said “I see you here“ and walked off. Nothing more. Nothing less than that. Eventually someone came to let us know what was going on and he wasn’t even the one assisting us. I don’t recall his name, but he was very nice (dark skin, bald). We requested hookah as soon as we sat down and mellow went to get us help and the hookah did not come until we were already finished eating. At that point I was already there for an hour and a half. Now I will say that the food is very good, the music is dope, and the vibe was also dope. But to find out towards the end of our reservation that the three people who bypassed us when we first walked in, were all managers is beyond disappointing.

   Took a while for someone to greet us at the hostess stand then again had to ask for server once seated. Great service when someone finally got assigned to the table

   Had seats upstairs and it was brutally hot. Half the appetizers we ordered were not available and our food came well before any of our drinks.

   Food was great, everyone with me enjoyed their food. I ate everything but the sweet potatoes but that’s because I look for a certain type of taste in sweet potatoes. I asked for a la carte because I didn’t want rice but I received an entree instead. The other issue was the temperature of the restaurant, it was chilly in there but they stated they were working on the heater.

   I know it was a lot noisier than usual cause of Valentine’s Day but the service was terrible! I normally have no complaints but last nite was terrible

   I was visiting from Texas. We had 7:15pm reservations, but it took over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged by the greeter. The restaurant was completely slammed and unprepared for the amount of reservations they had. We eventually ended up leaving after speaking to a party who were seated and had been waiting for 90 minutes and only had been served drinks. I love this restaurant but the lack of planning for Valentine’s week was extremely disappointing.

   Nice spot but incredibly loud. Like the DJ but you have to yell to be heard. If they could identify a more common level for the music where you can enjoy the tunes and also the conversation at your table that would be great. The food was good but the server was amazing. Very attentive, knowledgeable and kind.

   This was my first time here and everything from the service from our waiter Patrick to the food was stellar!!! The smother chicken wings, rice and collards were seasoned to perfection!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    Great ambiance, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, beautifully decorated old fire station. Bartender and chefs are top notch. Food is amazing, so much so I purchased a 2nd meal to take home for later! It was a group of four so we tried different appetizers and shared (they are all shareable). The crab deviled eggs are mouth watering!! We did the same with the entrees, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious and this is coming from a chef so I am big on flavor, pairings and presentation and they hit the mark on all 3!! Our waiter Jorge is the absolute BEST!!!!
