    This was our first time at Village Square. We have lived in the Winchester area for many years and Village Square has to be up there as one of the best restaurants in the area. My wife had the Lobster Thermador special and I had the filet mignon. Both were excellent. We shared the cheesecake for desert, it was fantastic. Paul, our water was one of the best. Overall it was a great experience, we will definitely be going back.

    The team sat us in a private room when the only available table was at the front door. Very customer oriented. Great service!

    The food was terrible and they ran out of syrup which was really bad since 3 people ordered waffles. The service was extremely slow and they ran out of several menu items before we ordered. Never again.

    This was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.

    An excellent experience, doubly so this evening with a celebration! Jeffrey always takes good care of us! Very delightful and highly recommended… love the seafood!
